RoofLITE+ SSC

Installation flashing, designed for the installation of two or more RoofLITE+ roof windows in a crimped sheet metal cladding

If you want to bring light into a large loft space and create an attractive glass wall effect, it’s a good idea to install a number of windows in a combi-type arrangement. For this type of installation, it’s worth using a dedicated solution that ensures the correct level of joining between the roof and the window and therefore the tightness of the construction. 

Now, in the RoofLITE + range, there is a solution dedicated to this material that makes such installation much simpler and faster. The SSX model is suitable for installing several RoofLITE + roof windows in a steel roof with a prefabricated seam up to 50 mm thick. Installation of windows is carried out with a 120 mm gap between the windows.

SSC 13 is a basic set that allows you to install two windows side by side
SSC 2 is a set that allows you to install an additional window between the two, which we will install using the SSC 13 set. Thanks to the combination of one SSC13 set and any number of SSC 2 sets, we can install any number of RoofLITE + roof windows next to each other.

Reliability and durability

The RoofLITE + SSC installation collar is made of gray aluminum (RAL7043). This color is consistent with the color of the external skylight of the roof window, so we get a color consistent combination that looks good on the roof. In the package, together with the flange, there are covering elements for the RoofLITE + window frame, which are necessary for the correct installation of the window.
