RoofLITE+ SCX

Combination flashing essential for installing multiple RoofLITE+ roof windows, in varying combinations and in conjunction with flat roofing materials

If you want to bring light into a large loft space and create an attractive glass wall effect, it’s a good idea to install a number of windows in a combi-type arrangement. For this type of installation, it’s worth using a dedicated solution that ensures the correct level of joining between the roof and the window and therefore the tightness of the construction.

Designed for flat
roofing materials

The SCX model is
suitable for installing multiple roof windows side by side in conjunction with
flat roofing materials, such as slate or bitumen, with a profile height of
between 0 and 16 mm (2 x 8 mm). Several combinations are available, all of
which allow you to install roof windows at 100 mm intervals.

  • The 13E flashing allows you to install two roof windows side by side.
  • The 2E flashing allows you to install one roof window between two other windows. The SCX 2E flashing can only be installed in combination with a SCX 13E flashing.
  • The 46EE flashing allows you to install four windows in pairs, one above the other. The SCX 13E kit is required for installation.
  • The 5E kit enables a single roof window to be installed between two other windows where the windows are installed in two rows (minimum six windows at a time in combination – two rows of three windows). It can only be installed in combination with SCX 2E, SCX 13E and SCX 46E flashings.
  • The 7E flashing allows you to install two windows, one above the other. A standard flashing for flat roofing is also required for installation.

Tightness and durability

The SCX flashing
is manufactured from aluminium that is resistant to all weather conditions, in
a colour that matches the RAL7043 external finish of RoofLITE+ windows (grey).
Its tight-fitting apron ensures tightness even in heavy rain and strong winds.

The RoofLITE+ SCX
installation flashing is compatible with all RoofLITE+ roof window models.
