How do I ensure the tightness of my roof window?
A key factor in the tightness of your roof window is water tightness at the critical point where roof window and roof meet. The RUC collar is manufactured from tear-resistant polystyrene with a vapour-permeable polyurethane coating. This provides the highest level of tightness while maintaining a high level of breathability. The RUC collar retains its properties even under extreme atmospheric conditions. Its resistance has been tested in a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, and in the most torrential rainfall.
